E911

Enhanced 911 diverts calls to your local PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) where they are able to locate your calling location without any information from the caller. Plexcom is rapidly expanding it's E911 coverage across the United States. E911 is now available in most Tier 1, 2 & 3 cities. When E911 is not available a device is required to divert 911 calls to a landline. A $12.50 charge per location is required for E911 and/or E911 device. In the event of a power outage or Internet outages phone service will not be available. However, calls can be rerouted through the web interface to mobile numbers or unaffected locations.
